Hello! My name is Lauren Felts and I am an aspiring graphic designer.

Growing up I’ve always been creative and in love with art. Whether it was painting, drawing, sculpting; I found joy in making things with my hands.

I am graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design at the University of Nebraska Omaha. I originally was studying psychology and just knew it wasn’t what I wanted to do. It was until I went out to lunch with my dad that he presented the idea of studying graphic design. Ever since then I knew this was something I was passionate about and enjoyed doing. They always say chose something that you love doing and it wont feel like work. And that’s exactly how I feel.

I graduated high school during the height of Covid and wasn’t getting many hours at my part-time job. I started an Etsy selling different pieces of art from stickers, prints, bookmarks, you name it. I am grateful I got this sort of experience with marketing and promoting my art, as it was sometimes challenging.

My style has certainly changed over the years, but I feel I continue to carry similar aspects throughout my art. I enjoy creating fun and aesthetically pleasing pieces that would catch my eye if I saw it in the real world. I take a lot of inspiration from my peers and other online sources, which has helped me explore different styles.
